Alice White, a nurse, was sentenced to two years in prison for tax fraud and filing false tax returns. A medical records company employed Hansen to evaluate individuals who applied for life insurance policies.

Tax Fraud

She was responsible for conducting complete medical examinations to ensure the applicants had no significant health issues they had not disclosed.

She earned many dollars from the company and omitted all of it from her tax returns between 2016 and 2018.

A large portion of her income that was not earned was also discovered during the investigation into her tax crimes.

White had submitted hundreds of records claiming she had examined an actual patient when she had not.

She was sentenced to prison and was ordered to pay $257,830.44 to the IRS for restitution and to her previous employer for one million dollars.
